Leather Care
Lambskin is soft and light, and with a little care it will look good for many years.
Everyday care
- Hang your jacket on a wide, padded hanger so the shoulders keep their shape.
- Let it air out after wearing before putting it back in the wardrobe.
- Wipe off dust with a soft, dry cloth.
Conditioning
Every 3–4 months, apply a light, lanolin-based leather conditioner with a soft cloth. Test it on a hidden spot first, work it in with gentle circles and let it absorb overnight.
If it gets wet
Blot off the water with a towel and let the jacket dry naturally at room temperature on a hanger. Never use a hairdryer or put it near a radiator, as heat makes leather stiff and brittle.
Stains
Treat small marks quickly with a barely damp cloth. For oil, ink or larger stains, take your jacket to a professional leather cleaner; never put it in a washing machine or use household cleaners.
Storage
Store it in a breathable cotton cover, away from direct sunlight. Avoid plastic bags, which trap moisture.
